The food is of high quality, the environment is nice, and it's a great place for couples to celebrate birthdays. If it's a birthday table, there will be a birthday sign, but no one will turn on the microphone to sing "Happy Birthday."

Had a wonderful dinner with my family. We ordered a piece of very tasty rib eye along with a few other dishes - wonderfully cooked and served!

Would not recommend, we were so disappointed. I usually don’t write bad reviews but the food here was extremely disappointing. Idk how you mess up mac&cheese but a frozen package tastes better than this. It was like the taste of pasta water + butane since they torched the top. The steaks were okay, they don’t even have salt and pepper on the table. We ordered a flat iron steak and the beef Wellington. Needed to smother it in sauce because it basically had no flavor. Ordered French onion soup but it didn’t match the description at all. Tasted like the worst I’ve ever had, and seemed to have some cheap cheddar cheese on top which had no flavor and was definitely some cheap wax cheese from a bag. The soup tasted sweet with no real flavor. They definitely added a bunch of sugar to onions and then added water. There was no real savory flavor or saltiness to it. The salad tasted worse than cafeteria food and super cheap with dressing that tasted like water... the lettuce was cheap too. Honestly, my shitty McDonald’s salad was better than this… Cream of spinach was not great either, it tasted like cinnamon but didn’t have much other flavor than that. The dessert we shared was crème brûlée which was actually decent but that’s bc it has vanilla bean in it. Some of the sugar on top tasted burnt though. Service was ok, grateful they let us come in late on a Sunday night (although we did make reservations ahead of Time). They have a good view but the drinks and food are terrible. We’re so upset that we had this as our last meal in HK. I’m surprised they actually have good reviews by some people on here and it’s questionable how this place is considered to be good? This was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time and the wine wasn’t very good either. They showed us that they had a similar wine than the one we picked on the menu so we just went with it and we didn’t have much of an option since we were in a rush. The vegetables fasted like they were all out of season and poorly sourced. This was the worst meal I’ve had in years… And that includes eating cafeteria food. It’s pretty ridiculous that the cost is so high for such poor quality food. We didn’t complain because we were exhausted and we were the last table of the day.

Lovely brunch experience with delicious food and a fantastic view of the harbor. The steak is cooked to perfection, and the sides complement the meal beautifully. To top it off, they surprised us with a delightful birthday dessert! The ambiance is classy yet relaxed, making it perfect for celebrations. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

An Unforgettable Dinner with a Stunning City View! Wooloomooloo Steakhouse delivered an absolutely incredible experience! The atmosphere is magical—a premium steakhouse with elegant decor and floor-to-ceiling windows on the 31st floor, offering a breathtaking view of the city at night. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. The service was impeccable: the staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making the evening memorable. But the real star was the food. The Wagyu beef steaks were a masterpiece—juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with rich flavor. And the spicy pepper beef tartare was a revelation—an explosion of freshness, heat, and perfectly balanced seasoning. Verdict: Wooloomooloo isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a gourmet journey with a sky-high perspective. Highly recommended!

Nice looking restaurant with decent service, but inconsistent food quality. Bread for the table was quite dry, served with a small dish of olive oil and vinegar - vastly more vinegar than oil so quite a tart experience, not the most pleasant. Caesar salad was a complete waste of time, it was effectively just a plate of dry lettuce, wafer-thin slices of round croutons (which were crispy, but unseasoned), and some crispy ham. Practically no dressing or cheese to be found at all, crazy for $145. Onion soup was ok, not the best but also not the worst. To their credit all the steaks we had were pretty great. Fillet mignon was beautifully tender, Black Angus ribeye was delicious. Only the sirloin was a touch on the dry, chewy end of things but even that still had good flavour. Nice range of sauces and mustards - special mention to the horseradish cream, and mushroom sauce. For sides, the sweet potato chips were really underwhelming. Quite a large portion but mostly soft-soggy, with only a few crispy ones to be found. Creamed corn was nice, and grilled asparagus was actually delicious, very nicely done. All in all, bit of a mixed bag of a meal, some delicious elements and some really sub par dishes. Would consider coming back just for the steaks and the evening view, but not the most inspiring of meals.

Dishes proportion (both appetizer and main course) are pretty small. I myself think the taste are just very very fair but my friend like it. I think the only reason I would eat again is because of the view.
