Thao and the rest of the staff were incredible from start to finish!!!!! I recommend this place to everyone from the views to the food and to the customer service WOWWWW! I’ll come back every chance I get!

Honestly the experience at Gypsy was a 10/10! We arrived late to the restaurant however it was not an issue for the staff, the welcome us, allowed us to take picture in the rooftop then there’d us to our seats after 20mins. The food was fantastic, it was a new menu but everything was chefs kiss!! One of the best meals we’ve had. We also got complimentary starters and palate cleansers which was so helpful. Alice was our server and she gave us the best service, she was so patient with us answered all our questions and explained every meal we were eating. Thank you Alice.

We had such a wonderful birthday dinner here! 🥹🎂✨ The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and they made my birthday feel so special. They prepared a lovely cake, decorated it beautifully, and even added candles for me — such a sweet and thoughtful surprise! 🕯️💗 The cake was delicious, the service was amazing, and the whole experience made this birthday truly unforgettable. Thank you so much to the entire team for making my night so special. Definitely one of my favorite memories from Da Nang! ❤️ Highly recommend, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion!

An absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was elegant with an amazing view, creating the perfect setting for dinner. I ordered a Truffle Pizza, Truffle Rigatoni, and a cocktail, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The quality of the ingredients really stood out. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. As a lovely surprise, they even treated me to a complimentary shot at the end, which was a very thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Da Nang. Excellent food, outstanding service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a fantastic Dinner for two. Our host Dong was incredibly attentive and provided great service throughout the entire evening. The food was absolutely delicious.. every dish was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the rooftop view is simply breathtaking. Highly recommended for a special night out! Great bar and drinks aswell.

We stumbled upon The Gypsy while looking for rooftops in Da Nang online and booked for the following evening. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired, and honestly, the food was 10/10. There wasn’t a meal we didn’t love! We HIGHLY recommend both the pan seared scallops and lamb skewer from the mains - both were cooked to perfection. As Australians, we are spoilt for choice back home. But this meal has surpassed even some of the better restaurants back home. On top of a great meal, the service was phenomenal, and the views were epic! We cannot wait to return to Da Nang to come back to The Gypsy!

My wife and I had dinner at Gypsy for my wife's birthday on Friday April 24th, 2026. From the moment we walked through the entryway we knew the night would be something special. The service was exceptional - staff constantly ready to top up glasses etc, without being in any way intrusive. The food was beautifully prepared, cooked and presented and was absolutley delicious. Chef prepared a special amuse bouche which was divine. We started with oysters and the goat's cheese salad. Although the oysters are a little smaller than we are used to in Australia, they were excellent. The goat's cheese salad was delicious. For mains, I had the mushroom rigatoni and my wife had the seafood risotto and they were both absolutely delicious. The wine list was pretty extensive and reasonably priced for Vietnam, where wines can be quite expensive. We finished off with the blueberry cheesecake, presented with the staff all singing "Happy Birthday". We had such a great night that as we were walking out, we made another booking for our last night in Danang. We highly recommend Gypsy rooftop - it was a sensational experience. Update; we returned on Monday night 4th May 2026. The scallop tartare was delicious, as was the salmon spaghetti. Service was again sensational. We will definitely be back next time we visit Danang.

I decided to come to Gypsy Rooftop because I thought it was cool spot to see the city of Đa Nang from. I have to say that this spot blew my socks off. The poolside lounge has a 180° view of the city and is tastefully decorated with an option to dine inside the restaurant. The restaurant offers a fusion of Mediterranean cuisine with a Vietnamese flare. I ordered the waygu linguine and my partner ordered the truffle rigatoni. The noodles we done to perfection, the meat portion was plenty, and the PORTIONS were rather large (I can't believe I'm writing this :o). The servers ended up adding more truffle aioli to my partners dish, which we thought was a hit overkill, as the rigatoni was quite rich. I honestly think that the portions could be a little bit smaller because the dishes are rich with flavours that it is impossible to eat the whole thing; the prices should also reflect the smaller portion sizes. The service was top notch. All the servers spoke english and we're well versed in suggesting wine pairings to along with the dishes. My partner absolutely loved the cocktails he had there. Needless to say, we'll be going back before we leave.
