I had such a fantastic time at Rex Hotel Garden Bar! 🤩 The food was absolutely delicious, every dish I tried was bursting with flavor. 🍜 The atmosphere here is truly exceptional, so relaxing and inviting. ✨ While the service was good, it could be a little more attentive.

In one word disappointing! The rooftop is legendary as the meeting point of travellers to Saigon 20 or 30 years ago! It still offers great views! But it is nowadays only a huge soulless area lacking enough visitors! To compensate the prices are outrageous: a bad cocktail mounts up including fees to nearly 300.000 D! Useless! Just go up, have a view and go!

It is kind of nice to sit during late afternoon or after 4pm... Price is very expensive for the drinks. We didn't try the food, as they didn't offer is any food menu

The terrace has a classic, relaxed feel with plenty of seating and some live music most nights, which gives it a nice atmosphere for chilling and soaking up the skyline. That said, the prices are quite steep compared with street bars or casual places nearby, so if you’re on a tighter budget it feels a bit pricey for what you get — especially for beer and cocktails at rooftop levels. Service and food quality can be a bit inconsistent too, and some people find drinks or snacks slow to arrive. 👉 Good for: views, relaxed rooftop atmosphere, live music. 👎 Not so great if: you’re expecting bargain prices or quick service. I had a brilliant late lunch here and a very pleasant visit. The service was top class. The portions were huge. I started with a seabass with salad, which itself would have been enough for my whole lunch 😁 - very delicious and beatifully built. The main course was chicken, shrimp and rice. For the dessert I had coffee. The late afternoon was quiet there, not many people. The prices of course high because of the reputation of the Rex hotel.
