Red Sugar is one of those rare places where everything comes together perfectly. The view of Hong Kong is absolutely stunning, making it an ideal destination for a romantic date night or a relaxing evening with friends. The ambiance creates the perfect mood, especially after sunset when the city lights shine across the skyline. Despite the premium experience, the prices are surprisingly reasonable and more affordable than many comparable venues in Hong Kong. The staff are attentive, observant, and quick to assist whenever needed, and the venue is impressively clean and well-kept. Beautiful views, excellent service, great atmosphere, and fair prices. Red Sugar delivers a memorable Hong Kong experience without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a meal on the outdoor terrace of the bar on the 7th floor of the Kerry Hotel Hong Kong. The location is fantastic, right in front of the sea, with a beautiful night view of the opposite shore. The pink-glowing bar counter in the center, the colorfully lit plants, and the upbeat music create a very pleasant atmosphere. The original cocktail "Kiku," made with lychee liqueur and Chinese tea, was delicious. The food was also high-quality, ranging from a platter of prosciutto and cheese to mapo tofu quesadillas with chili salsa sauce and other Hong Kong-style creative dishes.

Loved this place because of the view, attentive service and classy yet relaxing atmosphere. Very spacious venue, perfect for a date night or entertaining a group of friends long into the night. Definitely in my top 5 bars in Hong Kong, I'll be sure to come back here next time I'm in the city!

It’s my favorite rooftop in Hong Kong. The view is absolutely stunning!! The whole hk skyline, the water around. Do yourself a favor and come for sunset so you can enjoy by day, sunset time and by night. Pure magic ✨🫶🏼

Located on the 7th floor of the hotel, the service quality is reliably excellent, as expected within a hotel setting. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and highly efficient. On a Friday evening around 7:30 PM, there were still a few spots available—note that walk-ins are required for parties of 8 or fewer, as reservations aren’t accepted. The environment is spacious and comfortable, with soft, stylish lighting and a refined ambiance. The staff kindly arranged a window seat for us, offering a relaxing view of the outdoor pool. Before 8 PM, there’s a buy-one-get-one-free offer on selected wines, spirits, cocktails, or beers, plus complimentary welcome snacks—great value! The food portions were generous, and the flavors were impressive. If you’re looking for a comfortable spot to unwind after work, this is an excellent choice!

Hotel bar with a great harbor view. If you choose to sit indoors, there’s a comfortable dining/seating area. We came on a Thursday evening after work. Very easy to get a table. A very good atmosphere for dubbing and chatting amongst friends. The bartender, Niklas, is top notch. He’s from Sweden and brings the Swedish influence to the cocktails on offer. He’s passionate about the drinks (I think he created the menu), which are quite unique for Hong Kong. We tried a good portion of the drinks menu and were very happy with each offering. Will have to come back to try to the ones we didn’t get to this time. We ordered a few bar snacks too, which also were all very tasty. I’m a huge fan of tater tots in general, which was on the menu. This bar is not located in a very convenient place, so it’s not somewhere you’d just happen to walk by or be in the hood nearby. You have to purposefully come here unless you’re staying in the hotel, but if you do make the effort yourself to get here, you won’t regret it.

Good bar with fantastic Harbour views from the terrace. Drinks list is extensive with a snack menu to go with it. Was pretty busy the evening I went, but found the service pleasant and professional. Go for a seat on the terrace and watch the sun go down on that wonderful view back towards Hong Kong Island.
