The food was terrible all around. We asked for the food to come once ready but it was brought out all together and was all lukewarm/cold. The pork skewers were half blocks of fat. Beef skewers were dry and had no flavor. The corn fritters were ok but cold. The Indian thali was so mid - the curries were all so mid and were lacking in flavor. The naan was cold. The beef spring rolls are fine but the sauce had no flavor. Table settings are more suited for drinks (tables are very low relative to the height of the chairs so you have to bend down to eat). The couch cushions were all damp. When we told the server the food was cold - we were told that in the 2 mins the food gets brought upstairs that it gets cold, which doesn’t make sense.

We order butter chicken and chicken tandoori The serve butter chicken with non-cooked chicken latterly not cooked not undercooked !!! chicken tandoori was very salty The service was very slow and bad also For me one of the worst Indian restaurant i try

A wonderful dinner experience at Pala Restaurant! 🍽️✨ The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was amazing and made our dinner even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Dewi and Cahya for their warm, friendly, and attentive service. They were so kind and helpful throughout our dinner and made us feel very welcome. 🫶🏻 We truly enjoyed our evening at Pala Restaurant and would definitely love to come back again! ❤️✨

Had dinner at Pala Restaurant & Rooftop Bar and tried their seasonal menu for this month, Nasi Jinggo Bali. along with the Bakwan Parmesan (Cemilan) and Gajar Halwa Trifle (dessert). 1. The Nasi Jinggo was really good. The portion was just right and it reminded me of nasi campur, with a nice variety of sides. I also liked that it was wrapped and grilled in banana leaves, which added a nice touch. 2. The Bakwan Parmesan was something I’d never tried before. It’s basically bakwan topped with mayo and parmesan cheese, which sounds a bit unusual but actually worked really well. 3. For dessert, I tried Gajar Halwa Trifle for the first time. The flavor was quite unique and not something I’m very familiar with, but I enjoyed it. The carrot pudding, ice cream, and pistachio topping came together nicely. Overall, really enjoyed the dinner and the chance to try some different flavors. The rooftop view at night was also beautiful, which made the whole experience even better.

Pala Restaurant in Bali is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever visited. The setting and views were absolutely breathtaking, creating an unforgettable dining experience. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel genuinely welcome. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. From the stunning atmosphere to the exceptional food and outstanding service, everything exceeded our expectations. It was truly a memorable experience. I would highly recommend Pala Restaurant & Roof Top Bar to anyone visiting Bali.

We stayed for 5 nights on a luxury escapes half board and had breakfast here everyday, cocktails twice at the rooftop bar and dinner once. 1) breakfast - a bit chaotic and crowded. There a made to order menu and the restaurant feels very buffet. Quality wise is just average. Kudos to tge Staff who do a great job keeping their smiles and cool despite the crowd. And even remembering us after the second day. 2) rooftop bar - very nice environment when the evening is breezy. Quality of the drinks in the included menu was rather low and inconsistent on the two nights we went. Had the mojito which was not good, honje, lavender and chamomile g&t which had some ingredients missing as stated in the menu. View was great though in the evenings 3) dinner - we had rendang spring roll, duck betutu taco, ghee roasted prawn, butter chicken and pork ribs rica rica. The duck betutu taco, ghee roasted prawn and butter chicken was absolutely delicious. And very generous. 5 pieces ! In the end we were stuffed and very satisfied.

We went to Pala almost nightly for cocktails, as well as the occasional dinner, during our stay at Apurva Kempinski. The cocktails (included in our stay) were excellent and the staff were extremely attentive. There is an extensive menu of Indian & Indonesian cuisine and very accomodating of dietary requirements. A special mention to Dewi, who took such good care of us, but also to the waitstaff who were all incredible. Will definitely be coming back!

had dinner here with my partner, and it was such a lovely experience. special thanks to Reni, who took great care of us throughout the evening. she regularly checked on us, made sure everything was okay with the food, and even kindly offered to help take photos of us with the beautiful building view. the service from Reni and the rest of the staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome. now lets talk about the food. we ordered the nasi goreng kampung, and it was really delicious. I was initially expecting a stronger wok smoked flavor, but even without that, the taste still didn’t disappoint at all. we also ordered the rendang samosa, which ended up being my partner's favorite dish. the rendang filling inside was soft and flavorful with a slightly continental touch, and the samosa pastry was perfectly crispy. I really liked the texture combination. the last dish we tried was the pizza achari paneer. the shape of the pizza here is quite unique, it's long rather than the usual round shape, as you can see in the picture. the flavor was excellent and definitely impressed both of us. we were also lucky that it didn’t rain when we arrived, so we could fully enjoy the atmosphere. thank you, Pala Restaurant, for such a great experience. we'll definitely be coming back again!
