Best sky view of Chiang Mai with a beautiful view of Doi Suthep. We got caught in a moderate drizzle while dining, but the staff kindly moved us to the bar so we wouldn’t get drenched. Service was very accommodating, and the food and drinks were great. We honestly would have ordered more if the rain hadn’t interrupted the evening.

The atmosphere was perfect for a date or catching up with friends, especially during sunset. And the sweet potato was absolutely delicious, highly recommended! My partner and I chose this beautiful venue to celebrate the New Year’s Eve countdown, and we were impressed from the very first moment. Everything from the elegant table settings, stylish bar, live music, lighting, and overall ambiance, to the performances and warm hospitality of the staff came together perfectly to create an unforgettable experience. A special thank you to Amilia, who welcomed us warmly at the entrance, guided us through the venue, and kindly captured precious moments of this meaningful night for us. Her attentiveness truly made the evening even more special. Rafael & Gonzalo, the bartender, impressed us with his genuine smile, attention to detail, and thoughtful drink recommendations. Each cocktail was perfectly crafted and beautifully complemented the atmosphere of such a memorable night. We were also well taken care of by Sofia, the cashier, whose attentive service throughout the evening made us feel as if we had a personal assistant by our side. It was truly a magical night an unforgettable way to bid farewell to the year and welcome a new one. For anyone looking for a countdown destination or wishing to experience a romantic rooftop atmosphere in Chiang Mai, I wholeheartedly recommend MAI The Sky Bar. And whenever I celebrate New Year’s Eve in Chiang Mai, this will undoubtedly be the place I return to. ✨🥂

Here’s the polished, coherent English translation with your experience organized clearly: The rooftop venue opens at 6 o'clock, and its vibe is absolutely incredible. I thought it was fully booked after checking on Google, but after following their Instagram, I found out that walk-ins are welcome. There’s a cover charge of 600 Baht to enter and place orders—a price I consider really budget-friendly, since you get to enjoy the most stunning sunset from high up in the sky. The food here is just average, but the plating is quite elegant. As for the music, I’d give it a full 10/10; it amps up the ambiance perfectly. However, after arriving, I noticed that the place was packed with seniors celebrating Christmas. This cover charge policy only applies these two days, though—on other dates, you need to make a reservation in advance. It seems that both the 24th and 25th are completely booked. Overall, the atmosphere is fantastic. One thing I found out today is that there’s a minimum spend of 3,000 Baht if you want access to the very top floor. All in all, it’s a great spot, and I’ll definitely come back again.
