Had dinner at KAARLA Wood-Fired Grill and honestly, it was such a beautiful dining experience I went with the dinner set menu, which gave me a really nice selection of dishes, but of course, I couldn’t resist adding a few things from the à la carte menu. I ordered the roast pumpkin & lamb skewers and the octopus skewers, and both were absolutely worth adding The flavours were bold, smoky and beautifully balanced, with the wood-fired cooking really coming through. The lamb was tender and flavourful, while the octopus had a great char without being tough The food, atmosphere and views all came together really nicely. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a more elevated dinner with great food and a beautiful setting. Would happily come back again

The afternoon tea was amazing. We had the platter for two. A delight with unusual combinations. The view of the Sands and the city is indescribable. The rooftop garden is accessible via a walkway spanning almost three floors. Highly recommended, but reservations are essential.

Definitely had a great time at Kaarla! Their Starlit Dinner Tasting Menu is such great value for money, especially considering the quality and variety of the dishes. The Wagyu steak was definitely one of the highlights for me. As someone who has tried quite a number of steaks at different restaurants in Singapore, I can genuinely say that Kaarla’s really stood out. It was incredibly tender and delicious. I also loved the cherry dessert—it was so good that I’d honestly come back just for it! The oyster was another highlight: fresh, juicy, and served in a way that made it such an umami-packed experience. Nelson assisted us throughout the dinner and was incredibly attentive and friendly. He also took the time to explain the dishes to us, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, such a great dining experience, and I’d definitely come back again!

Awesome experience with the excellent service, so friendly and thoughtful. The food was amazing and esp the Sirloin and Corn-fed Chicken. The Wagyu Burger came with some fantastic potato crisps that were crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. Totally surprised & wow'd by the birthday cake slice with candle in how it was presented and the Cherry Ripe dessert with Coconut Fudge and Wood Roasted Cherry & Chocolate Ganache was such a wonderful way to wrap up the evening. Overall, a fabulous evening and I haven't even mentioned the incredible view !

Exceptional service. Really enjoyed the crew as they were so humble and sweet. They even gave us a free drink because we didnt like the smell of it. Food wise, burrata was the best. The steak was good but not great. Pork was good as well. Pavlova was alright. Felt more of the Pavlova pieces were necessary. Lamb skewers was the best.

We had a wonderful experience dining here. The food was delicious, and the ambience was warm and inviting, making it a great place to celebrate special occasions. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary birthday cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. A special shoutout to Gifford for his outstanding service. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. His hospitality made a big difference in our overall experience. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back again.

Nice ambience with fancy presentation and great service but wasn’t a huge fan of the food - we had the sharing menu so maybe it’s just the options offered. Brioche, oysters and burrata were standard, pretty good but not outstanding. Not a fan of the kangaroo meat tart tho. The fish was good but the steak too chewy for me. Desserts were mid.

Wife chose this place for my birthday. Family and I enjoyed the food. Every dish was great, though the cabbage dish was a little salty for our liking but I understand because thats how it tastes like. Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant has chill vibes and good air conditioning. View of the city is amazing. Restaurant was kinda dark with just a lamp. More of a place for dating.
