The food was delicious and the view was amazing.
The Indian food is flavorful, the service is excellent, and the view is unlike anything you'll find elsewhere.

It's not worth the trip at all. And if Arabs or Gulf Arabs go, don't ever go. Don't believe the trend.
A wonderful experience at Starbucks! ✨ The seating and view were among the best things about the place, especially during the day 🌙🤍. We tried the pizza, tacos, burgers, and salad, and the selection was varied and delicious. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. A beautiful place to enjoy the food, the seating, and the view. The experience was very enjoyable 🤎

One of the worst places you could go for several reasons. Firstly, they're incredibly rip-offs. Secondly, the view isn't that great; there are much better ones for free. This is 3000 baht for something very basic. And there's a 500 baht table that they claim doesn't have a view, but when you go upstairs, you discover that the 500 baht table is right behind you. So you're exactly the same as the one who paid 3000 baht; the only difference is that your table is right next to the barrier. I went to have coffee at sunset. I had just sat down, the sun hadn't even set yet, when they asked me to order coffee. I ordered coffee. At 6:30, they came and said, "Order dinner; we're closing." Ten minutes later, they came and said, "We'll give you the food on the spot!" Seriously? What kind of humiliation is this? It's like I came for free!

Be careful, each person needs to pay 500 THB. We were 6 people, so they asked us to pay 3,000 THB in total, you can use this amount toward food and drinks at the restaurant. Also, keep in mind that the menu prices are a bit higher than usual. I am very disappointed with our experience and with the way the situation was handled. We were a group of six people coming all the way from Patong. Transportation to the restaurant cost us more than 400 THB each way, meaning we had to spend more than 800 THB just on transportation. We requested several times that the minimum spending amount of 3,000 THB be reduced. The employee eventually reduced it to 2,600 THB but initially refused to reduce it any further, even by 100 THB. After she saw that we had given up and I had started looking for a taxi to leave, she suddenly offered us a 2,000 THB arrangement, of which only 1,700 THB could be used for food and 300 THB would be taken as a service charge, TAX or VAT What disappointed me even more was that I specifically asked to speak with the manager, but the employee refused and told me that there was no manager because the restaurant is a franchise. I genuinely find it strange that a restaurant can operate without any manager or person in charge available to speak with customers when there is an issue. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant, particularly for anyone staying in Patong. The restaurant is quite far from Patong, transportation is an additional expense, and I also found the prices relatively high compared with other Indian restaurants in Patong. For example, you can compare your pricing and overall customer experience with Tandoori Flames, which has a 4.8 rating and more than 23k customer reviews. They have built a very strong reputation for their food, taste, service and overall customer experience. My suggestion to the management is to be more flexible when dealing with customers and reconsider policies that may discourage customers from dining at the restaurant. Policies are important, but customer service and reasonable flexibility are equally important. I hope you take this feedback constructively and use it to improve the customer experience. Wish you all the best.
This is my second time visiting this branch, and the experience was excellent as always. The place is beautiful, well-organized, and has a very relaxing atmosphere 👍 I noticed an improvement in the outdoor seating area — there is now a retractable canopy that can open and close, which makes it much more comfortable whether it’s sunny or raining 👌 I’d like to thank the staff for their great service, especially Ben and Kwang. They were very professional, friendly, and attentive to details, which really made a difference in the overall experience. Definitely not my last visit 🙏

4 of us just came to this hilltop cafe.We have to park our car down the hill and have to take a short ride up the hill using a pick-up truck. However I cannot imagine the fee to go up is THB500 per person which I personally felt it is too expensive. No doubt we can use the payment we made to purchase food or drinks but the price of the food and drinks are not cheap either. However the view and the service given there is ok. Truly hope the management could look into the cost charges. Thks.
Nice spot with a great elevated view, especially during the day. Had lunch there — the fried rice with shrimp served in pineapple was very good, flavorful and well presented. There’s an entrance fee, but it’s redeemable and can be used toward food and drinks, which is a fair setup. One downside was the long queue at Starbucks, so expect some waiting if you’re planning to grab coffee from there. Overall: Worth visiting for the view and a decent lunch experience.
This was an amazing experience for us as a couple. We were taken very good care off by Zill. There were few guests when we were there, so he even took the time to get us an amazing zoom picture and video of an eagle we spotted and sent it on Airdrop, which just showed that the staff is willing to go way beyond expectations to deliver an amazing experience. All the staff ware very friendly and accomodating. I normally never comment on other reviews, but for this one I feel I needed to. I can for sure say this place deserves even better reviews than the 4.0 it has as I write this. I think it is only a matter of expectations. As I see it, this place is not just made to go get a nice view and then expect that you can pay of with a cheap cup of coffee. This is an exclusive place built to give an experience, not just a viewpoint. It is part of a very luxurius hotel. As I see it, they "reserve" 500 baht per person to go to the Hilltop Café to make sure the limited amount of seats are used for serious guests who want to have the experience they created. If you just want a viewpoint, go somewhere else there are plenty of those all over Phuket/Thailand. This is not a tourist trap, it is an experience created for tourists, very big difference. I am not quite sure how exactly the Google "price per person" system works. But for me the most correct way to remove any misunderstandings of the concept would be to name it a "Restaurant" and have the price guide say 500 baht minimum and 700-900 baht average range. We had a good meal each, normal drinks and a glass of wine for just less than 1700 baht. Which by the way was very fair for this experience.
