Very disappointing experience. I came to this beautiful venue specifically because I enjoy taking photos of myself for my public account. I use a digital camera, not a DSLR, and I was told I needed permission from the marketing team to use it. We clearly told the manager that we would only take pictures of ourselves and not the venue or other guests. We were completely willing to follow the rules, but the manager continued watching and hovering around us, which made me extremely uncomfortable—even when I was only taking pictures on my phone. This was honestly the first time I’ve experienced something like this at a restaurant. We were told to contact the marketing team, but they never responded. The receptionist and manager also gave different explanations for the policy. I respect rules, but the way this was handled made the entire experience uncomfortable. I would not return.

High Society at The Lana exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated, with breathtaking views of the Dubai skyline that make the experience truly unforgettable. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish was prepared to perfection, and the drinks complemented the meal wonderfully. The service was exceptional as well: attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making the entire evening feel special. If you’re looking for a luxurious dining experience with incredible food, stunning views, and impeccable service, I couldn’t recommend High Society enough. I will definitely be coming back!

Thank you to the restaurant and staff for a wonderful evening with my husband. Ambiance 10/10, food 10/10. For cocktails highly recommend the Aperol Spritz - I order it every time I visit. Perfect balance of flavors.

I’ve visited High Society twice now, once for evening drinks and once to spend the day by the pool, and both experiences have been excellent. The first thing that stands out is the design of The Lana itself. Every detail feels thoughtfully considered, from the architecture and interiors to even the elevators. It’s one of the few hotels in Dubai where the design genuinely leaves a lasting impression. The pool experience is a hidden gem. Unlike many rooftop pools in the city, the atmosphere is calm, serene, and sophisticated. There are no loud DJs or overpowering music, making it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the views. The food was another highlight. Everything we ordered was exceptionally fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The menu offers enough variety to satisfy different tastes, and considering the quality of both the food and setting, I found the value for money surprisingly good. Service can occasionally be a little slow, and on both visits there were a couple of small items that were forgotten, but the staff were always courteous and the overall experience more than made up for these minor shortcomings. High Society is one of Dubai’s underrated spots and somewhere I’ll happily return to again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined pool day, sunset drinks, or simply a peaceful escape from the city’s usual high-energy venues.

Amazing place. Went for Dubai Restaurant Week. They were the only ones to have a 4pm lunch appointment time which worked out for our group. Amazing food , environment, stayed for sunset. We sat inside and enjoyed the views. The terrace filled up around sunset.

Had an amazing experience at High Society! The view is absolutely stunning and creates such a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything from the service to the ambiance was top-notch. Definitely a place I’d recommend, and I’m looking forward to visiting again!
