We reviewed the list of rooftop bar at Jakarta from rooftopguide.com and decided on Henshin as it’s on the highest level. And we also checked out the menu on the website and booked a table since it Japanese Peruvian fine dining. We entered via Westin Hotel and wouldn’t know where to go if there wasn’t a hotel staff who directed us to Henshin entry to their lift. Henshin has a great ambience. The hostess and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Since we were 25 minutes early we had a drinks on level 67. It has amazing view and took lots of photos. Drinks were great and we had a complimentary veggie chips which was excellent. The hostess then directed us to level 68 to our table. All the staffs that served our table have been great. We had Legado Tasting Menu with wine pairings. All the food on the tasting menu was excellent with a special nod to Hamachi Yuzu, Nigiri San, Kakuni Gyoza and Wagyu Yakiniku. We didn’t like Matua Pinot Noir Rose. Would recommend Cabernet Merlot instead of Shiraz Cabernet. At the end of the kitchen service Chef Akira came to our table which very nice and special. Our overall dining experience has been great. Thank you to Chef Akira and his team at Henshin.

Amazing experience in Henshin! Had very good cocktails and delicious appetizers there. The staff goes above and beyond and are extremely friendly. Highly recommended

This is a very nice cocktailbar. The view over the city is amazing, the 67th floor is definitely a big plus and those who seek a drink with a view will enjoy this place. The cocktails are definitely good. Oke it's not the place where they ask if you want your old fashioned dry or sweet, it's not the place where you get a branded crystal clear ice cube, not the place where you get some complimentary water and not the place where you get a snack with your drink, we can live with that. What is truly disturbing is the music, the speakers are really really bad and play pure distortion.

We were there for dinner and serve well by Isti and Galuh. They reccomend food for us which all delicious. We had ribs and super tender .. i specially enjoy all meals including the complimentary chocolate pralines the pistaschio matcha yum. Since it's reserved seat there is a minumum order or 1.4 million for couple. Before leave we were offer by one of the staff to took our picture by the stairs .. ❤️

Celebrated my friend’s birthday at Henshin Jakarta, a Japanese Peruvian restaurant. It sounded like an unusual combination at first, but with all the good reviews, I decided to give it a try. We ordered the Salmon Tamamiso and the Henshin Platter, which included: • Nigiri: Maguro, Hamachili, Sake, and Ikura • Sashimi: Hamachi, Salmon, and Tuna • Rolls: Crispy Nori and Acevichado To my surprise, the food was excellent — fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Everything complemented each other really well. The service was great, attentive without being overwhelming, and of course, the view was stunning, especially for a special occasion. Overall, a great spot for celebrations or a nice night out. Definitely worth the visit. I would consider this place again later on my next JKT visit !

Dining at Henshin was truly an unforgettable experience! 😊 Located on the 67-69th floor of The Westin Jakarta, it offers a breathtaking view of the city, especially at night. Their unique Nikkei cuisine, blending Japanese and Peruvian flavors, is a real treat for the taste buds. The friendly and professional staff made the experience even more memorable. My favorite dishes were the Henshin Rolls and Australian Angus Beef Ternderloin, absolutely delicious! The elegant and luxurious ambiance, with soft lighting, makes it perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion. If you're looking for a high-end dining experience in Jakarta, Henshin is the way to go!

Great experience here, The cocktails were immaculate and i had the pleasure of Luky and Intan catering to my needs for the night, as the Cusco tasting meal was incredible. Paired with their incredible sake it was hard not to be missed. Their cocktails, was delightful, be sure to ask for their bar menu as they have an extended range of cocktails to try as the dining menu can be limited when it comes to cocktails. Overall was a great experience. Only comment was the sake paired with the salmon ceviche didn’t seem like a great pairing, as there were too much sour flavours, and overwhelming on the palate. Rest of the meal was incredible nonetheless with stunning views of Jakarta
