If you’re looking to find the best view of Jakarta’s skyline, please come here. Best espresso martinis by far and the live music is truly insane. Worth the trip!

Had an event there. The place is very accommodating, staffs were good and service is great. Food is above average, the beef stroganoff was THE best. Kudos to the chef.

Cloud Lounge Jakarta offers one of the best panoramic views of the city. However, the overall experience leaves room for improvement. The service needs to be more attentive and consistent, as it doesn’t match the premium positioning of the lounge. The food quality is nothing special, with dishes that feel average compared to other rooftop venues in Jakarta. The music is often too loud, which can make conversations difficult and detract from the relaxing atmosphere guests expect. In short, Cloud Lounge is a place to enjoy the view, but not necessarily the full hospitality experience. With improvements in service, food, and ambiance balance, it could become a truly standout destination in Jakarta’s nightlife scene.

Cloud Lounge Jakarta (Rooftop) offers one of the most amazing views in Asia — and arguably up there with the best in the world. The food is good; not fine dining, but certainly not bad either. The shisha selection is decent, though the tobacco leans on the weaker side — as someone who smokes premium blends, it didn't quite hit the spot. That said, I came back again, because the view and atmosphere more than make up for it. Improve Shisha options and definately a 5 star.

If you’re hunting for the ultimate rooftop view in Jakarta, Cloud Lounge at The Plaza absolutely delivers on that front. The skyline view from up here is fantastic—truly a stunning, panoramic backdrop that makes for incredible photos and a great initial impression. Unfortunately, that’s where the high notes ended for me. For a premium rooftop lounge, the ambiance felt completely off. The live music/band was incredibly loud, and honestly, the vocals were pretty rough. It made it hard to even hold a conversation without shouting, which isn’t exactly the vibe you want when you're trying to wind down and take in the city lights. As for the menus? Strictly middle-of-the-road. The Food: Just okay. Nothing special or memorable enough to justify the premium price tag. The Cocktails: Average at best. They tasted fine, but lacked the craftsmanship and unique flavor profiles you’d expect from a high-end lounge. Will I come back? No, probably not. While the view is undoubtedly world-class, the lackluster food, average drinks, and disappointing entertainment mean one visit was more than enough for me. There are too many other incredible spots in Jakarta’s nightlife scene to give this one a second turn. #JakartaTravel #CloudLoungeJakarta #JakartaRooftop #TravelBloggerReview #HonestReview #JakartaNightlife #PlazaJakarta #Wanderlust

One of the best rooftop lounges in Indonesia or maybe even in ASEAN (when it comes to the view, price, comfort and quality of service). I’ve tried some great ones across ASEAN, but this one is really stands out. It might be a little pricey by Indonesian standards, but it’s absolutely worth it for the view, the atmosphere, and the experience. My best friend and I used to spend almost every Friday or Saturday night here during our university days. And less than a decade after, it turns out they’ve changed quite a lot, especially in terms of the setting and layout. Recently, I returned with my fiancé. He really loves rooftop views, and I couldn’t wait to share this spot with him. It was such a beautiful and romantic experience. From all the times I’ve spent here, this was the first time I shared it with the very special person in my life and it made the date even more precious for me, for us. We ordered their Truffle Fries and Cheese Platter to pair with our wine. Both were excellent! We were a little surprised to see cheddar in the mix (which isn’t a usual choice for a cheese platter) but surprisingly, it worked well. Haha. We came on a weekend, and it wasn’t too busy; most guests chose the high tables, which made sense. We sat on a large corner L-shaped sofa (with a minimum spending requirement), comfortably facing the skyline. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, professional, and truly paid attention to every little detail. From how they served our wine to how they handled our requests. They maintained a high standard of hospitality throughout our visit. We stayed until closing time, and they were still very friendly, even giving us some extra time without rushing us out. It made the evening feel even more special.
