Alva KL has such a beautiful rooftop area, with a magnificent view of KLCC and a really calming poolside atmosphere. The food was amazing, and the waiters were incredibly considerate and friendly. They even kindly recooked my steak to my preferred doneness, which I really appreciated. They also accommodate birthday reservations and planning, including decorating the place beautifully for special occasions. Overall, I absolutely loved the experience and would definitely recommend Alva KL!

Had a wonderful time celebrating my hubby’s birthday at Alva KL 🎂❤️ The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed our meal. Special thanks to Anna and Tepantor for their warm and attentive service, making our celebration extra special. Highly recommended⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’re tourists from the Philippines, and for our last night in KL, we wanted to have a last-minute dinner with the best view of the Petronas Twin Towers. After hours of scrolling through TikTok, we decided to give Alva a try—and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially Joyce, who went out of her way to make sure we got the best seat with a beautiful view of the Twin Towers. It was the perfect way to spend our last night in KL—good food, an incredible view, and such warm hospitality. Thank you, Joyce and the Alva team, for making our last night extra memorable. Definitely a highlight of our KL trip! 🤍

The food is very ordinary, and it doesn‘t match the price, but because the scenery is very good, it’s understandable, but the service is a little bad, whether it‘s an order, a plate or a food, especially when I went in and out of the door, the waiter was in front of me. He actually opened the door by himself, and then walked over by himself. Finally, he let go and closed the door. At that time, I was almost hit by the door, and I had to open it again by myself.

The fine dining felt like any other restaurant with no dressing etiquette imposed. It did not feel like a proper dining as well for several reasons, the noise from the bar area was too loud, the door often left open. When we arrived, the last table had some event organisers preparing the table for a birthday surprise. Their stuff were on the table that the restaurant reserved for us. So when we came, instead of bringing us to an empty table, we were seated on after the stuff’s were removed and it was too cramped. We really felt odd sitting there as the next table was too close and they were Betsy decorating. What’s more surprising, there were two empty tables on our left, with the other three tables at the far end already combined. The staff did not bother to move the rest of the table to create a more comfortable space n dining experience for others. The special day did not feel special at all even though I left remarks when making the booking about a celebration. I’d never come back here for any romantic or fine dining experience. It’s fine if it’s just a visit to the bar. The ambiance was far from nice, very brightly lit as compared to what’s being posted by other diners. This was on a Sunday night.

Had a wonderful dinner here last night. Amazing rooftop dining experience with breathtaking views of KLCC and Merdeka 118. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good, especially the ribeye and soft shell crab linguine. Great cocktails and also a lovely atmosphere for a date night.

Everything is good, except for the lighting. We went during lunch hour and the light is not on. Natural light during rainy day cause the whole environment looks gloomy. The main dining area next to the pool is closed. We planned to take good photo but it's raining outside. However, The staff is very attentive, polite and helpful. The food is delicious too. Thr rain stopped after dining so I can stepped out for the wonder ful photo after that.

Initially, we came mainly for the view and wanted to take some nice photos, but the food turned out to be surprisingly good as well. We had a reservation at 5 PM and originally sat outdoors, but it was a little too warm. After communicating with the staff, they kindly helped arrange an indoor seating area for us, which we really appreciated — special thanks to the front desk team for being accommodating. One thing we really liked was the timing — at around 5 PM, the view of the Twin Towers was very clear and beautiful. By the time we finished our meal around 6–6:30 PM, the weather had become much cooler, making it a perfect time to head outdoors and take some photos after dinner. Overall, the food was delicious, the scenery and atmosphere were beautiful, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our dining experience. The only small downside for me was that some of the indoor furniture looked a little worn out and stained, which was a bit unfortunate. Other than that, everything else was great.

We had a birthday celebration for my best friend and overall it was a memorable night. My rating for the food would be 6/10. Why 6? On the positive side, the food presentation and plating were amazing, the colours were very tempting and the portions were generous! each of these deserves credit. However, although the food looked very appetising, the taste was quite disappointing ☹️ Most of the dishes lacked flavour and we couldn’t even finish many of them because of the taste. Also, having more than 2 menu items unavailable (86) on a Saturday night was quite disappointing. Poor service team had to handle many customer complaints regarding this issue. Considering we spent more than RM1,000 on food and drinks that night, we honestly expected a much better dining experience in terms of taste and menu preparation. That being said, the service was wonderful! Special thanks to Mr. Jun for assisting us throughout the night. We truly appreciated your hospitality, and sorry as well for taking up your time before you could head home. The drinks were amazing too! 👏✨ One more thing! the weather inside was quite hot. I think it would be great if management could consider adding 3 portable air-conditioners at the corners of the restaurant for better comfort. Thank you for the experience, and we hope to see improvements in the future 🙏🏻

The food exceeded my expectations! The mac & cheese is better than most I’ve had elsewhere—super flavourful and somehow still juicy. The garlic prawn pasta is also highly recommended; the garlic fragrance is amazing. The view is a perfect spot too. One area for improvement is the service at the reception downstairs. We waited about 5 minutes with no staff attending to us while everyone was queuing. After your staff here which is two ladies. Then got one China Chinese just came and approached a staff member directly and was immediately brought upstairs. It gave the impression that queueing isn’t being followed, which felt a bit unfair. I think this is something that can be easily improved with better coordination—serving customers in order would make a big difference, as it’s a basic part of good customer service. Overall my experience is nice
