Excellent and personalised service. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the massage at the spa was great! Also enjoyed having lunch and dinner at the Wanlamun Rim Nam restaurant.

During my stay at Sala Lanna Chiang Mai, I would like to give special thanks to Ms. Pam at the reception. She was very friendly and helpful, always with a big smile. Her warm service made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I stayed in a Deluxe River View Room with a balcony. The room was very comfortable and had a nice layout. The swimming pool and rooftop area are a little small, but overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend the hotel’s restaurant. The food was really delicious and actually surprised me. It was one of the best parts of my stay!

Edit: See their cut and paste response as a reflection on their total lack of effort. I booked the NYE rooftop party for 2026 and the experience was nothing short of a massive letdown. For starters, The drink selection for cocktails were pitiful with just three pre determined choices. Second, there were empty sofa seats available but we were ushered to the bar seats. When asked if we could switch to those empty seats, we were told there were reservations. However, these seats were then given to walk in customers. I know this because that although there was a card on the table for 2 pax for someone called Lucy, 5 chinese customers sat in those seats at 11.43pm, which meant that these seats were empty for a few hours. Lastly, although there was limited seats, each cocktail order took at least 15minutes to arrive, and one of which has not even been shaken. Would not recommend anyone to prebook anything in advance with them since they clearly don’t prioritise customers that have reserved and already paid for services.

I had an incredible experience here. A delight from start to finish. Excellent location walkable to nearby restaurants, bars, markets. Clean rooms, great staff. Highly recommend.

The service was excellent. All the reception staff were lovely and friendly. The accommodation was comfortable and felt just like home… It was a fantastic holiday… The restaurant and accommodation were clean, pleasant, and conveniently located. It's a great place to relax… Everyone was very welcoming with a smile… I was impressed by the service and the smiles… and especially by the hotel owner's friendly and hospitable nature.

In the rooms facing the street it’s very noisy, it feels like you haven’t closed the window. There are strange design choices, with just one glass door between the shower and the toilet, so you always have to choose which door to close. The hotel staff are very friendly, and they go a long way toward smoothing out the overall impression of discomfort.

Just wanted to pop in to say “ thank you for wonderful stay “ Very relaxing morning last day before leaving Chiang Mai. I highly recommend breakfast here it was spot on. We stayed in Standard room it was perfect 1 night stay, bed was super comfortable and we had a good night sleep. If I go back to Chiang Mai I would stay a bit longer and probably stay in the room with balcony and river view.
