KITA Bar at Park Hyatt Jakarta felt like a small escape tucked above the city—sleek, intimate, and quietly glamorous, with skyline views that stretch far beyond the glass. The ambience instantly reminded me of a rooftop bar at Andaz Tokyo: elevated design, warm lighting, and a mood that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the night. I went with my best friend for dinner and drinks, and the space (plus the music) made the evening feel special from the first minute.
What truly shaped our experience, though, was the service—especially from Evelyn. She welcomed us with genuine warmth and the kind of calm confidence that instantly puts you at ease. I’m the type who takes forever to decide what to eat, and Evelyn never rushed us; she guided us patiently, answered questions thoughtfully, and checked in at just the right moments without hovering.
After dinner, she offered to help us take photos—and somehow managed to nail the composition and angles so well that we were both impressed (which rarely happens). I appreciated it so much that I even asked for a selfie with her. Evelyn’s hospitality turned a great rooftop bar into a memorable evening.
Food-wise, my friend ordered the Philly Wagyu Cheesesteak, which was satisfying and well-executed, with a rich, indulgent feel. I had the salmon cream cheese roll (clean, balanced, nicely presented) and the truffle al funghi fettuccine—comforting, aromatic, and generously portioned.
One gentle note: considering the premium price point and KITA Bar’s reputation, I’d love to see an even stronger “wow factor” in flavour creativity and complexity. The dishes are good and polished, but at times the flavour profile feels closer to what you’d find in a high-end mall restaurant than a true destination rooftop menu. I say this as supportive input, because the setting and service deserve food that’s equally unforgettable.
We’ll happily return—especially for the view, the atmosphere, and Evelyn’s exceptional care. If you’re looking for a refined rooftop in Jakarta with warm service, KITA Bar is absolutely worth visiting.
